ANNOUNCING! {Mini Quilt Class}

There's something I've been yearning do for some time now.  It's something that I feel there is a need for in the online sewing community and something that really speaks to me as a Gram and as a Maker.   I want to offer an online beginner quilting class especially geared to children and beginner adults.

My Favorite Salt Soak!

A little over a year ago when I started fitness classes, I really enjoyed coming home and soaking in a tub of hot water to relax the muscles and help me sleep!  Sometimes I would throw in some Epsom Salt if I was really sore but never knew for sure if it really helped.

Scrappy Half Square Triangle Quilt Block {And A Bonus}

I'm part of a great little online group of quilters - there are 11 of us - and we have this awesome deal where each month one of us chooses a quilt block that we would like all 10 of the other quilters to make for us!  This is my second year and I've just loved it.  (Pictured above is the block that I had all the gals make for me.  I have not done anything with the blocks yet... but it is going to be a picnic quilt!)

A Sweet Pillow Pattern {And A Giveaway}

About a year ago I met the sweetest fellow maker on Instagram, Ali @arabesquescissors.  I think she caught my eye in the beginning because her Instagram feed was full of the most beautiful and amazing things that she had sewn.  Her eye for detail and the way that she finished her projects was just so incredible.
