Always Tacos! Even Shrimp!

I recently shared a picture on FB and IG of my lunch on a cold dreary day... shrimp tacos.  I had numerous comments, private messages and even emails asking if I would share my recipe.  I don't really have a recipe.  This is one of those things that many  years ago on the quest to make the "perfect" shrimp taco I came up with this.  It has been a hit in my family ever since.   So, today because it sounded good, I made more shrimp tacos and here's my little tutorial for you!

A Little Change-Up In My Sewing Room!

Rosetta Turns Five {Edward And Elizabeth Get Bunk Beds!}

My  littlest grand-daughter, Rosetta, turned five.  I can hardly believe how quickly the years have flown.  She is such a special little strawberry blonde headed little girl and reminds a lot of people of me when I was little.   It warms my heart every time I hear it!

March Monthly Moos {Lady Beetle Invasion}

Have you heard of the Asian Lady Beetle?  

If you saw one you would call it a ladybug.  I mean they look like a ladybug.  But, they are not red, cute or sweet.  They are brownish-orange, ugly and quite horrible.  And you rarely see one, sweet little bug.  You see hundreds upon hundreds.

My daughter and I have started the preliminary plans for our 2016 flower farm.  We've purchased our seeds and began working out the details of another summer and what we want to change and improve.  Very soon it will be time to work the soil and get our seeds planted.

Secret Swap - Part One!

I follow numerous quilters and sewers (or it is seamstresses?) on Instagram and one thing I've been seeing is that between them they do a lot of swapping of gifts.  I am always so envious (yes, envious) of this and have thought how fun it would be to be a part of something like that - exchanging talent.  Since I am on a little private Facebook group of talented lady quilters I decided to put the idea to everyone about doing a secret swap.  There were 9 of us that wanted to participate, so I spent a little time putting together how I thought maybe it should work.
